Michael "Munsey" Kennon Joins us today for episode 46. Munsey grew up on the fishing grounds of he East coast, his first Deckhand job was on a Lobster Boat at 12. He has been raised with salt in the veins and always has a quick wit comment for all. Special thanks to Nathan Parrish for our intro music and of course Penka Jane for the Intro and exit. just found this. i was a deckhand on f/v American Empire in 1992/1993 for skipper dirty dierks...fished brown, blue and red crab in bering sea and over in russian waters. grew up in IL, moved to Seattle in '91, was captivated by commercial fishing. proud of my 172 days of sea time. think back on those days often. great people, scary seas and pride of hard work. good to hear candid stories from people in the industry. thanks for providing the podcast. enjoyable listen. as much as I loved deadliest catch...kinda burned out on it now. this podcast is similar to thing I listen to on YouTube called Vietnam Voices...good stuff! best - chuck
